Rate That Party: Club Penguin Journey's 'The Fair'

Welcome to the new 'Rate That Party' column in Friendly Gamers. In this column we take a deep dive into the works of parties of popular Club Penguin Private Servers (or CPPS for short) and rate them based on how good they are based on uniqueness, stuff do to, graphics, overall playability, bugs/performance, etc. Let's take a look at what Club Penguin Journey has to offer in the fair.

Upon loading the https://cpjourney.net website, there is a custom graphic for the play screen. Once you hit the play now button, there is another graphic for the fair. The UI Interface is quite smooth, and the loading times are quite fast.

After you log in you are greeted with a custom decorated welcome room with music (and a suspicious looking box) that fits the fair.

Now, I'm not going to cover every decorated room, but what is seen here is a really great start. From music to custom rooms. The party is well decorated across almost all of the main rooms (including the iceberg) and there are enough people in the town and server to talk to overall during this party. I'll piggyback this with the music rating below as well. Although most of the main rooms have the same music, there is still a little bit of variety in party music such as in the stadium, night club, welcome room & coffee shop. I find this a bit repetitive overall, but it still does the job. Next, let's take a look at features this party has to offer. Starting off, there's a bunch of cool games to play at the dock, forest, a bonus room through the snow forts, and a singular game in the cove.

At the docks you can play Spin the Wheel, Ring the Bell, and Shuffle!

In the bonus room through the forts, you can play Balloon Pop, and Puffle Soaker.

In the forest you can play Puffle Paddle and the Memory Card Game!

In the cove you can play Feed a Puffle!

All of the games that I have mentioned DO NOT give you coins for a reward. They give you tickets which are only available during the fair party. With tickets, you can redeem them in the prize booths. There are three prize booths around the map.

The first one is in the Forest

The second one is in the room behind the Forest.

The third one is in the Ski Village!

However, there is a downside to collecting tickets. When you do, make sure you stay on long enough to buy what you want as your tickets will reset at 12:00A.M Penguin Standard Time (Approx. 3A.M. EST). Thus, this downside slightly affects the features rating of this portion.

Next, if you walk into the Coffee Shop, you can collect a sneaky pin! If you throw enough snowballs into the machine in the left of the room, you can get a Snow Cone Pin! Once it's full, it'll play a little animation and then dispense the pin. Just simply walk onto it to collect it.

Also, there is a new mascot appearance in this party! Jet Pack Guy! He is one of the games main mascots and he is visiting for the first time during this party! And now...the moment of this group that you've been waiting for, this party's results!
