Many people hold grudges against things. Holding grudges is fine for the most part, however, in the world of armies, you must do what's right for your army. Making SWAT as an enemy was an easy thing for us to do, because of my insane history with them. Quick note before I go on, this article is targeted toward the bad leadership of Legoman. I still respect every other leader who led SWAT before 2023 excluding him.
First of all, I joined SWAT in 2021 under the leadership of Legoman, Mare, and Coolguy. I quickly rose through the ranks, getting SiT in early 2022, and getting Staff a month later. I remained unaware of what was going on for quite some time and I've watched my fair share of new people entering and leaving the army. Some time passes and I've been held at Third in Command being a Head of HCOM. This is where our story begins in August of 2022.
The leadership was now Coolguy, Legoman, Ryken, and Toxic Storm. I've been in and out of SWAT multiple times at this point, but I've been pulled back each time. Some may call this manipulation, which it was, and some just might say it was because I missed the place. It was the only place I've been noticed in and "appreciated my efforts".
Efforts put to nothing.
Throughout my time inside SWAT, I've caught a whiff that people didn't like the army, but I never understood why. This brings me to my first point, all of my efforts inside SWAT were put to nothing. Below are direct screenshots from a group chat that I was added to. This was the moment when I found out that all 550+ recruits were put to nothing. It was like I was a number, not a person.
Multiple pieces to this puzzle just connected inside my mind at that time. I was indeed being manipulated. Next, I directly messaged another HCOM at the time, Kala. Funny enough, she had similar experiences with legoman, so I sent her the screenshots and we put two and two together. About 30 seconds after I had sent the screenshots to her, I got a DM from Lego saying the following:
And then I got kicked from the staff server, soon to find out that I got banned from it.
I have no clue how they got that information within half of a minute, but I've concluded over the past year that DMs were being watched somehow. Soon later, a new group chat formed a group chat with Kala, Aubz, Mare, Xing, and me. Long story short, a 4v1 war started because of my situation and SWAT ended up losing terribly.
Manipulation, Manipulation, Manipulation.
If you think this situation was bad, listen to what I have to say about what's going on even to this day within SWAT. I cannot stress how bad it is in SWAT right now. Everyone in SWAT while under the direct leadership of LEGOMAN is not being cared for. Lego just wants to be seen as number one when he can't even control himself. He doesn't care about people, every event, every recruit, and hell everything there just boosts his ego just for himself. Most staff members won't even get above the rank of Third in Command, just like me. Before I got banned from SWAT, everyone that I worked with there was either still in a goddamn staff role or 3ic. When I was leaving last year, I tried to drag out a few staff members I was close to but guess how many were left with me. 0.
The Legoman Effect
Every army Legoman has touched, from SWAT, to PIC, and even the Ice Warriors, he's been doing the same thing. He purposely befriends people of ages 12-18 just for them to do the work for him. All Lego has ever done was use people to his advantage and it's so disgusting how unnoticed this all is. To SWAT he seems like someone you'd like to talk to, he's friendly, open, and can be funny. but DON'T let this fool you, if you are in any enlisted army with Legoman, he is likely trying to manipulate to do work for him. When I was in swat when it was on the verge of death, I was the one who led a few events, I was the one recruiting for myself. Why? Because I wanted to succeed. Then, of course I found out what was happening and then I made my separate ways from swat.
It's Never Too Late, Legoman.
I would like to take another moment to ask Legoman what people have done to deserve shit like this. This game is for fun, not for all of these additional stresses. It's time to take a reality check Lego, think about what you've been doing and the actions you've caused to harm other people. Is manipulating people just worth "penguin fame"? No, it's not. My call to action for you is to look at what you've done over the past two years. Did you enjoy your life more before you entered CPA? If so, it's never too late to revert your ways or go back to your life before CPA. If not now, then when?
